As this was a rest day, we had a very slow start. We began ascending from the van at around 2 p.m. The route was good, though certainly not the most interesting Via Ferrata we’d done. At the split, we went right to follow the more severe route up the cliff. There was an overhanging section that was actually really good. Above this, the route started to level out. Eventually, we met the main path back down. As we were both wearing running shoes and weren’t carrying much gear, we jogged back down the path. Some teams had complained online that the return was a 1 hour and 15 minute walk. Running it was lovely; we made it back down in around 30 minutes.

We drove back up the hill to pack our gear for tomorrows adventure!
