Llyn Peninsula Bike

We were going to go climbing, but rain in Llanberis meant looking for other options. We decided it had been a while since we’d blown the cobwebs off our road bikes! The weather looked good on the Llyn Peninsula, and El found us a route online. (Route 41) 30 km, 440 m ascent, and sea views – perfect!

El hates me for saying it, but the Llyn Peninsula is a lot like Cornwall! Little country lanes, high hedges with walls hidden in them, and often grass up the middle of the road!

It was a cracking route, and I wouldn’t hesitate to cycle the other routes on the peninsula.

We finished off with a Sunday lunch at the Whitehall, Pwllheli.
