Crib Goch

Sarah and Ryan joined me in Llanberis on Saturday evening. We took a walk around the village and to Melyn, then the next morning, we drove into the pass and hiked into the Llyn Glas valley. We gained the South Ridge of Crib Goch and made our way to the summit. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed lunch with a view.

Sarah and Ryan were blown away by how cool the Crib Goch ridge is. They made their way along (a little tentatively) and, at the end, climbed the second Pinnacle.

We descended the gully back into Llyn Glas and walked back down to the car. An ice cream and swim in Padarn followed.

It was a cracking day! It was really rewarding to take two novices up Crib Goch and see it through their eyes. You start to forget how special it is when you run along there regularly!
