The best post-work run I’ve done in ages! I headed up to the quarry with the idea of finding a new line through it. I was eyeing it up on my approach run and decided that the right of the big bowl looked like a full line of inclines. I felt fit running but had to keep stopping to take photos, as the view was breathtaking!

The heather colors were popping, and the blue sky went on forever. The view of the sea over Moel Elio was stunning.

I made it to the top of the quarry, summited Elidir Fach, and then up to the summit of Elidir Fawr.

I returned by repeating the same route. With good tunes, I felt like I was flowing down the slate at a good pace, with excellent foot placements. It really felt as though it all came together!
I reached the village after running quickly the whole way down. I decided I had time for a quick swim in Padarn. The water was a fantastic temperature!
Got home, absolutely buzzing from such an adventurous, incredible run—that really was the best way to start the weekend!
Quick shower, then headed with El to Cerys and Jon’s for dinner in the garden, a few drinks, and a fire!
