Lac d’ Emmoson

Wee Doug was feeling stiff and clearly aching from all the excitement of the past few days. I found us a lake walk in Switzerland—high up at 1900m with stunning views but flat enough for a gentle stroll. Or so I thought. Doug spent the entire time leaping into waterfalls, making it far less gentle than planned. He then managed to cut his foot, so I ended up carrying him for the last 3km. Once we got home, I headed out for a run up to Le Bechar and around to Le Tour. It was a brilliant run, but in absolutely torrential rain. Just another awesome day in the mountains!
