After the enormous day on Millennium Ridge, a chill-out day was exactly what we needed! We enjoyed a lie-in followed by a leisurely breakfast at the hotel.
Mid-morning, we made a trip into Tafraoute’s center to stock up on food and water for the days ahead, as we’d be staying in the remote Kasbah. While in town, we also decided to buy a tagine—just £1.50! Absolute bargain.
Back at the hotel, we spent the afternoon lounging by the pool, breaking only for lunch and a quick (and very cold) dip. Bliss!
In the evening, we set off on the drive to the Kasbah, arriving at the fortified village just in time for dinner. Afterward, it was an early night to rest up for the next day’s adventure.
It was excellent to have a day to relax—much needed and much appreciated!
