Sump To Summit

The weather had been miserable for days, with a storm rolling through North Wales. We decided to go for a run, but wanted to stay on the road, as best we could. We parked above Bethania, ran down the road to Llyn Dinas and down the water- logged footpath to Bedgellert. The run down the gorge was ace! The water levels were very exciting to run along next to! We continued on the road to Nantmoor, and continued up the back road to make it a round loop to the car. Not our best day out ever, but given the weather I was pleased we got this much done! The most surprising thing was the amount of other people we saw out in the torrential rain… As El said ‘Nowt like a bit of Christmas cheer to get people out for a walk’….
