We had breakfast at the hotel, then got ready to head back up the hill. Pawel and I were sorted in no time. Just as we were good to go, Radislaw jumped in the shower… so Pawel and I had no choice but to have a coffee in the bar.
Eventually, Radi emerged, ready to leave. We got in the taxi — only for him to suddenly decide he needed a new hat. Pawel and I waited patiently in the car while he tried on what felt like the entire shop. Finally, hat secured, we made it to the church and left the car behind.

We followed the ridge up to the 360 Bar, reaching it in around two hours. From there, we continued up to our stash point and picked up everything we’d left behind. Then it was on to the glacier.

We crossed over and climbed to the 3,600m hut, where we pitched the tent and got dinner going. It got dark around 9:30, so we turned in for an early night, ready for whatever tomorrow brings.
